Learning Technology & Platform Leadership

  • Oversee the implementation and continuous development of the LMS (e.g., Moodle, LearnWorlds, TalentLMS).
  • Integrate the LMS with supporting systems such as CRM, learner tracking, e-portfolios, and digital assessments.
  • Manage external tech providers and ensure seamless system interoperability.
  • Lead adoption of AI, microlearning, mobile learning, and other emerging trends to enrich learner engagement.

Digital Content & Learning Experience Development

  • Drive the development of digital, blended, and interactive content across all training sectors.
  • Collaborate with SMEs and instructional designers to ensure learning assets are engaging, accessible, and up to industry/employer standards.
  • Embed learner feedback loops, progression tracking, and CPD pathways within the platform.

Quality Frameworks for Digital Delivery

  • Maintain alignment with ISO 9001 and awarding body expectations, focusing on digital delivery standards.
  • Standardise digital documentation, policies, and learning materials across all training partners.
  • Ensure that digital platforms and content are inspection-ready and meet internal quality benchmarks.

Partner Enablement & Consortium Support

  • Onboard and support training providers in adopting shared digital tools and LMS infrastructure.
  • Create a centralised toolkit and templates to streamline partner delivery within Simply Consortium.
  • Deliver briefings and training to stakeholders on digital systems, content management, and learner support.

Key Deliverables

  • Fully deployed and operational LMS covering the complete course lifecycle.

  • Strong experience with LMS platforms and digital learning tools.
  • Knowledge of learning design principles, online pedagogy, and learner analytics.
  • Experience in implementing integrated technology solutions (e.g., CRM, e-portfolio, tracking systems).

Desirable:

  • Experience working with ISO 9001 or other quality frameworks in a digital context.
  • IQA or Assessor qualifications (or familiarity with vocational qualifications).
  • Experience in delivering green skills, utilities, or technical training content.
  • Understanding of government-funded training (e.g., AEB, bootcamps, apprenticeships).
