This refresher course is designed to update and reinforce the knowledge and practical skills of delegates who already hold a Vehicle Marshall NPORS certificate, ensuring continued safe and effective operation in vehicle marshalling duties on busy sites.

Current NPORS Vehicle Marshalls requiring a refresher to maintain currency and competence.
To review and update knowledge and understanding in the following areas:
• Relevant legislation, updated industry practices, and continuing responsibilities as a Vehicle Marshall
• Review of the manufacturer’s handbook and updated operational procedures for the vehicles marshalled
• Refresher on approved hand signals, communication methods, and safety signage
• Reassessing PPE selection and maintenance appropriate to current site conditions
• Reviewing safety checks of the work area including stop blocks, exclusion zones, and unloading/tipping areas
• Reinforcement of safe vehicle guidance techniques including manoeuvring in confined spaces and blind spots
• Environmental considerations impacting marshalling operations
• End-of-shift procedures including shutdown and parking protocols
Upon successful completion, candidates will receive an NPORS Card, depending on the chosen certification route, or a Simply Learning in house certificate.
