This course is for those employed in monitoring works on the highway who have not worked on the highway before or require re-registration on the SWQR.

This qualification is for those undertaking the role of a first aider in the workplace. The QNUK Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) has been developed in conjunction with other AOs and supports employers to meet their requirements under the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981.

This qualification is for those working in confined spaces either in a water or non-water environment. This unit is for anyone working in a low risk environment and includes preparing to enter and work safely, entering and exiting confined spaces safely, using equipment and tools, following procedures and dealing with emergencies.

This course is for those employed in carrying out work on the highway who are required to locate underground apparatus.

The CCNSG Renewal Course is a 1 day course for basic site safety designed to enable contractors to improve health, safety and environmental awareness. It will also benefit the employer by reducing accident rates and incident related costs and putting a stop to repetitive health and safety inductions.

Category 1: Locate Utility Services covers the minimum training and assessment required for those working to safely detect utility services using recognised and approved detection methods.

This course is for any workers that have duties which may contaminate the air with dust, mist, vapour, gas or fumes such as: - Cutting wood or stone - Using a product containing volatile solvents - Handling a dusty powder&nbsp - Wearing stainless steel - Or where workers are exposed to low oxygen levels, such as confined spaces.

The training will be useful for first aiders/responders who may need to deal with life-threatening bleeds in sectors such as agriculture, forestry and construction.

Qualitative Fit Testing (QLFT) is suitable for persons who must wear RPE with a tight-fitting facepiece (disposable and reusable half masks) to carry our work activities may result in harmful substances contaminating the air in the form of dust, mist, vapour, gas or fume.  Note: QLFT is not suitable for full-face masks.

This qualification provides knowledge relating to Health and Safety in a Construction Environment. It is ideal for those individuals requiring a recognised qualification prior to completing the Health and Safety test for their CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card. This qualification will prepare learners for entry to employment in the construction industry.

Category 2: Implement Safe (Digging) Excavating Practices covers the minimum training and assessment required for those working to safely excavate and maintain holes and trenches using both hand tools and hand-held power tools.

This qualification is aimed at employees who work with ladders and/or stepladders at work.

The course covers all relevant legislation and other aspects which affect safe working in the building, construction and civil engineering industries. It highlights the need for risk assessment in the workplace, the implementation of the necessary control measures, and adequate communication to sustain a health and safety culture among the workforce. The SSSTS course is endorsed by Builds UK and exceeds the standard set by CITB for construction supervisors training.

This unit is for the entry controller/top person who controls entry and arrangements for confined spaces without entering them. It includes the duties of an entry controller, pre-entry procedures, entry into and exit from the confined space, maintaining communications and initiating and controlling emergency procedures.

A refresher which is suitable for managers, supervisors, safety professionals and/or operatives who are required to oversee and/or carry out work employing install, inspect and remove timber, steel and proprietary excavation support systems.

This qualification is for those at work that require an understanding of the hazards associated with manual handling and how these can best be avoided. The programme is typically delivered over a day. The assessment includes practical elements as well as the knowledge element found in the QNUK Level 2 Award in Principles of Manual Handling at Work.

This Level 3 award in F- Gas is a regulated qualification designed for leaners working in the refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pumps industries. This qualification covers all F Gas activities (Category 1) and is essential for compliance with Regulation (EU) 2015/2067.
